The club IS NOT currently accepting applications to become a member.
Our waiting list is full, and will not be open again until next summer.

The Mission of the Dakota County Gun Club is:
  • To teach firearms safety to the young and inexperienced.
  • To practice conservation and protect our wildlife
  • To support our Second Amendment Rights as Americans.
  • To introduce shooting sports to the youth of Minnesota.
  • To provide a quality outdoor shooting range for our members.



  • Youth Shoot: June 2nd, 10am - 3pm. For details, see here.
  • Ladies Day: August 18th, noon - 5pm. Registration is open.

  • Capital projects meeting: May 30th at 6pm at the Range.
  • Ladies Day volunteers meeting: June 13th at 6pm at Community Center
  • Members monthly meeting: June 13th at 7pm at Community Center
  • Little Shaver Shoot and Club Picnic: Aug 11th

New Members or members requiring Re-Orientation  
  • Required Range Officer Orientation for 2018 is announced. See the details here or in the newsletter or contact the Chief Safety Officer.

NOTE: Access to Member only web pages requires the latest passcodes (which change on May 10th). Those codes are provided upon payment of dues and completed Orientation
