Ladies Day Volunteers Needed

From the Ladies Day Chairs, John Gamlin and Doug Braden:

Doug and I would like to thank everyone that has signed up so far to help with our 2018 Ladies Day event scheduled for Saturday August 18.  But, we are still in need of quite a few volunteers.  If you are a previous volunteer, please join us again this year and let Doug and I know what you would like to help with.  If you are looking for a great way to get your volunteer hours in and work with some really great people and even make some new friends, this is your opportunity, just let Doug and I know what you would like to help out with (list below).


2018 Open Positions:

· Tent/Tarp Set Up – Volunteers needed(Friday evening August 17, Bob Hart has volunteered to lead this effort)

· Registration helpers (Cheryl Schindeldecker volunteered to lead again and is looking for helpers)

· Parking Lead and Volunteers – needed

· Safety volunteers (Ed Zeimet volunteered to lead and Bernie to help, more needed)

· Archery Lead and Volunteers – Mark Cox volunteered to help, more needed

· Food and Beverages – Jodi Aamot volunteered to help, more needed (coolers needed)

· Cooking – Leads and volunteers needed, propane tanks needed

· Food Serving Lead and Volunteers needed

· .22 Pistols Lead, Safety Officer and Volunteers needed (Doug Smith volunteered, more needed)

· Trap/Shotguns Volunteers needed (John Miller volunteered to lead if available)

· Muzzleloaders Lead and Volunteers (Norm Timmer and Steve Wolverton volunteered, more needed)

· Rifles Lead, Volunteers and Safety Officer needed

· Buffalo Guns – FILLED!  Yea (thank you Bob Van Cleve)

· Bowling Pins Lead, Volunteers and Safety Officer needed (Greg Rekenthaler volunteered)

· Large Cal Pistols Lead and Volunteers needed (thank you Don Brown, Tom Zehoski, Derrick Leong and Stan Juruski for volunteering)

· Cowboy Action Lead, Volunteers and Safety Officer needed (thank you Floyd Child for volunteering)

· Medical Lead and Volunteers – volunteers still needed (thank you Dan McNulty for volunteering)

· Golf Cart – FILLED!  Yea (thank you Floyd Child for volunteering)

· Transportation Lead and Volunteers – need someone to secure the “trolly”, a vehicle to pull it and helpers to man the trolly

· Radios – need a volunteer to provide radios and track who has what

· SWAT Organizer – need a volunteer to get a local SWAT team to join us on Ladies Day and set up a demo

· DNR Organizer – need a volunteer to get the DNR to join us on Ladies Day and set up a demo

· Cash and Cash Box – need a volunteer to provide $200 in start up cash and a cash box

· Venture Crew Organizer – need a volunteer to get a local Venture crew to help (ex: directions, parking, station relief, water runner, etc)


Doug and I would like to invite all interested in helping with our 2018 Ladies Day event to a meeting on Wednesday June 13 at 6 pm at the Rosemount Community Center (just before the club meeting).  We will review positions that volunteers are need for, supplies needed, logistics and any other topics that may come up to help us ensure our guests and volunteers have the best time possible on Ladies Day Saturday August 18.  Please plan on joining us.
